Aramex offers a job opportunity to work as an LMI optimization analyst.
Eligibility:
You must have:
- Be an expert in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent command in English.
- Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Computer science or any related field.
- Knowledge in Python.
- Knowledge of BI Systems is a plus (Tableau, Power BI, etc).
- Team skills, including the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships both internally and externally.
- Communicates ideas both verbally and in written form in a clear, concise, and professional manner.
- Knowledge in data collection systems or a proven ability to apply new systems effectively.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems efficiently.
- High work ethic.
- Innovative and collaborative mindset.
- Ability to thrive in a challenging working atmosphere.
- Personal commitment to stay up-to-date with all technology-related concepts.
Your Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for:
- Generate daily, weekly and monthly reports from multiple systems.
- Manage and design report templates.
- Work with various departments to automate tasks.
- Develop and verify algorithms.
- Research and develop machine learning models.
- Compile and consolidate data from all regions to provide management with data-driven insights and action plans.
- Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.
- Evaluating changes, updates and assisting with strategic suggestions on new systems.
- Analyze data collection processes and identify potential areas of improvement.
- Co-ordinate with LMI operations teams to implement new data collection processes.
- Support LMI operations teams by developing mapping capabilities to optimize on-ground operations.
- Derive and track multiple metrics that focus team efforts on process improvement.
- Stay updated with the latest technologies and innovations in the supply chain industry.
- Support other functions in parallel with regular duties.
