Opportunity description

Orange offers a job opportunity as a project manager in Egypt.

Eligibility:

You must have:

  • It's preferred to have a degree in the telecommunications field.
  • A degree or diploma and Project Management Institute (PMI) certification or equivalent.
  • From 2 to 5 years experience in the specified local telecommunications area.
  • It's highly desirable to have customer service and telecommunications experience.
  • Previous involvement in network deployment projects.

Your Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for:

  1. Delivering the agreed outcomes required from the project and conduct stakeholder analysis, define and manage customer expectations both stated and un-stated.
  2. Estimate times for all activities and prepare delivery schedule as well as control performance to meet the deadlines according to the schedule.
  3. Project cost and procurement management.
  4. Plan, allocate and manage budgets as well as manage third-party equipment and suppliers.
  5. Quality management.
  6. APM is involved early during the quotation phase and has extensive contacts with the customer headquarters to refine exact needs.
  7. Ensure high-value delivery value to customers.
  8. Project human resources management.
  9. Interact with all stakeholders, maintain engagement of team members.
  10. Project communications management.
  11. APM is responsible for internal and external communications and management reporting. A key deliverable for this activity is the production of the POM document (Project Overview Message).
  12. Provide visibility into the status and progress of activities, linkages, and dependencies across the organization.
  13. Ensure early capture of risks and preparation of mitigation plan.
  14. People management through leader coordinating/managing a number of individuals in support of an account as well as provide day-to-day guidance and mentoring to new and existing staff. Manage project-specific teams as required.
  15. Financials: the project manager is committed to managing the finances for a project and control expenditures as well as manages the P&L and controls the cost to deliver.
  16. Communicate, organize face-to-face customer meetings.
  17. Manage a large team with specific skills.
  18. Organize the delivery of a complex service.
  19. Understand advanced networking problematic.
  20. Speak local language for premium offers delivery or English for default offers delivery.
  21. Produce high-quality written materials: Proposals, Business Cases, Organizational Plans, and Presentations, etc. 
  22. Work in a virtual team environment.
