Opportunity description
Siemens is looking for a Service Coordinator to be responsible for receiving requests from technical support and coordinating assigned dispatch requests, checking service contract level/prepare quote, and obtaining the purchase orders from the customer, and supporting the assigned field team with internal inquiries.
Responsibilities:
- Identify suitable field staff by optimizing: qualification, availability, location, overtime.
- Resolve resource conflicts by re-planning activities within the defined scope.
- Manage escalations in case of unavailability of field staff according to a defined process.
- Communicate with the end customer.
- Spare part and tool handling.
- Coordinate order and delivery of spare parts as required by service staff.
- Coordinate spare part delivery and synchronization with Customer Service Engineer - optimize planning.
- Control parts return process.
- Manage the escalated or spare part issues with Customer Service Logistics.
- Manage tool and test equipment logistic.
- Monitor service delivery by field staff.
- Ensure Estimated Time of Arrival is met: replan changes and inform the customer.
- Control field staff on site time: replan changes where necessary.
- Monitor spare part delivery status: replan changes where necessary.
- Inform customer about changes to the plan.
- Schedule field staff for planned service events such as preventive maintenance, updates, and installation as per service requirements.
- Support the Area Service Manager in all resource planning activities.
- Record all relevant attendances and absences in the planning tool.
- Maintain the after-hours on-call roster.
- Coordinate travel planning booking for field service activities according to company policy.
Requirements:
- Customer focus, analytical thinking, ability to optimize cost and resource.
- Independent and creative problem solving.
- Good level of SAP CS along with MS Office.
- Strong level of communication skills in written and spoken English. Arabic is an advantage.
