Opportunity description
Philip Morris International is looking for an Internal Controls Analyst to join the team for 2019 in Izmir, Turkey.
Responsibilities:
- Performing audits in line with the annual audit plan and set action plans to mitigate the identified risks
- Preparing audit reports and present to the Management
- Undertaking detailed analysis of organization's controls and make recommendations for the improvement of the control environment of the organization
- Identifying process simplification and improvement opportunities, and propose solutions to implement them
- Performing SOX testing of the business and IT general controls cycles
- Communicating with other departments in order to carry out the required analysis and testing
- Preparing audit reports and present to the Management
- Acting as a controls advisory to support other departments related to the internal controls matters
Requirements:
- A university degree from a reputable university
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Internal and/or External audit or Finance in a leading company
- Strong communication and relationship building skills, able to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management within the company
- Ability to analyze and interpret complex information, understanding of business processes, IT infrastructure and systems’ architecture
- Background and understanding of the risks and controls in business processes as well as IT general controls environment
- High degree of analytical problem solving skills and the ability to connect the dots to make reliable, objective judgments and proposals
- High degree of learning agility and curiosity on business processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills both in English and Turkish
- Excellent skills in PC and MS Office applications
- Excellent time planning and multi-tasking skills
- Knowledge of SAP and Sarbanes-Oxley is a big plus
- CIA, CISA certificates are an asset
- Energetic and social
- No restriction for occasional domestic and international travel
