Tasks & Accountabilities: 

Main tasks and responsibilities (as part of the TID team which is responsible for the program TORNADO) includes: 

• Preparation of technical documentation taking into account the respective weapon system and the national customer requirements.
• Harmonisation of the configuration status, ensuring data conformity with S1000D and consistency with other logistics products through interdisciplinary coordination with the responsible departments.
• Preparation, maintenance and conceptual further development of the IETP.
• Securing the contractually agreed deliveries of the documentation, including the provision of evidence.
• Evaluation of engineering documents (e.g. STO, TA, SB, VSB, etc.) with regard to effects on technical documentation.

Additional tasks: 

• Participation in the conception and further development of the respective national TID processes.
• Customer support and advice on all technical documentation topics.
• Collaboration for TID projects within export campaigns and new projects (Next Generation Weapon System, UAV, etc.) 
• Implementation of special topics on the part of the customer in the field of technical documentation.
• Identification and implementation of process improvements (Boost Competitiveness).
• Identification and implementation of additional/extended TID topics to support Airbus Services growth strategy.
• Assumption of project and organizational topics.

Required skills:

• Diploma/Bachelor/Master in Engineering / Aerospace Engineering.
• Experience in the creation of documentation according to S1000D or Airbus Civil.
• Additional knowledge of ASD specifications advantageous.
• Project and weapon system knowledge (A400M, C-160, P-3C, TOR).
• Project management experience, interdisciplinary thinking and action.
• Dealing with specific SGML/XML tools and databases such as Epic Editor, CSD
• Extended PC / MS Office knowledge for creating queries and evaluations (e.g. ACCESS / EXCEL) for data analysis.
• Commitment and the ability to work in a team are absolute prerequisites.
• High flexibility and ability to adapt to changing tasks.
• Customer orientation (internal/external).
• English: fluent / business fluent.
• German: fluent / business fluent.
