Opportunity description

Aramex is offering a job opportunity in Dubai, UAE, as it is looking for a Global Key Account Manager (GKAM).

 Eligibility criteria:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance or Psychology.
  2. Strong English language skills are required for this role; additional languages are preferred given the nature of this global role.
  3. 4-7 years of experience in key account management within the logistics and transportation sector.
  4. Previous experience with multi-national preferred (US / Europe based highly regarded).
  5. Practical experience with established sales methodologies (e.g. solution selling, value based selling, challenger sales).
  6. Thorough understanding of global business, account management, transportation and logistics and financial acumen.
  7. Strong leadership, coaching and mentoring skills.
  8. Highly developed negotiation, consensus building and communication skills.
  9. Strong strategic and business acumen.
  10. Ability to analyze problems and strategize for the business.

Job responsibilities:

  1. Works with Aramex Senior Leadership team to develop strategies resulting in greater customer experience and performance.
  2. Drive and accelerate business results by investing in continuous improvement on the people, process and technology front and adopting best in class practices and trends.
  3. Develop trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customers and executive members.
  4. Clearly communicate the progress of monthly / quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
  5. Ensure the timely and successful delivery of Aramex solutions according to our customers objectives / timelines / expectations.
  6. Forecast and track key account metrics and develop reports on a monthly basis.
  7. Collaborate with Aramex product / service leaders to identify and grow new opportunities within territories
  8. Achieve and exceed revenue and gross profit targets of assigned accounts.
  9. Create an environment that encourages a high-performance culture to emerge.
  10. Build and strengthen internal capabilities through learning and development interventions, to bridge gaps in skills and knowledge.
  11. Constantly create revenue generating channels from Cross Selling and Upselling streams.
  12. Ensure customers are using cost effective services channels and increase use of automation. 
  13. Plan and execute regular maintenance and business development visits to customers. 
  14. Provide customers with solutions fitted to their requirements and resolve their inquiries on time.
