Identity Center is seeking a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer – Reporting (Personal Officer, Reporting) to assist in the management and improve the overall quality of services provided to the beneficiaries. They will be responsible of reporting on project activities and its outputs. In addition to providing information to the Management to facilitate linkage with all Monitoring and Evaluation functions to get a coordinated and coherent management.
This position will provide oversight and coordination of all the program activities in accordance with standards and principles. It collects and reviews feedback on the quality of work from all stakeholders, donors, NGOs, Government and non-Governmental agencies, CBOs and officer.
The unit supports the regular monitoring and evaluation of work and collates the required documents to generate information for all who may need it.
Applicants will have the following duties:
[1] Preparing reports and information in Arabic and English to use it by all stakeholders (donor’s reports, Internal-learning and reflection reports, newsletters, leaflets, success stories, etc.)
[2] Assisting the development and implementation of effective systems to track project outputs, achievements, indicators and activities against the projects objectives – this includes both quantitative data (numbers assessed, training etc.) and qualitative data (impact of assessment, case management, training, etc.)
[3] Collecting the relevant data and information from the various program units and projects
[4] Documenting the information supported by statistics of work done and functioning by ME systems (qualitative – impact of the work)
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, social studies or any related field.
• At least one year of experience in development and/or humanitarian organizations
• Appropriate understanding of the concepts behind development and humanitarian programs.
• Proven skills in partnership building, influencing and negotiation with governments, academic institutions, networks, national/local NGOs and community groups
• Proven experience in establishing monitoring and evaluation systems, methodologies, and reporting on findings.
• Proven experience in data collation process, auto reports and documentations
• Strong skills in written communication, including effective report writing
• Strong facilitation skills, including the design and management of effective trainings, workshops and meetings with diverse participants.
• Strong skills in inter-personal communications, able to work effectively with multiple stakeholders in a complex, multi-actor environment.
• Sensitivity to cultural differences and the ability to work effectively across a wide variety of cultural contexts.
• Strong team player, able to develop and maintain effective working relationships within a distributed and dynamic team.
• Flexible, creative and solution-oriented approach in an innovative environment
• Competence in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook
