Job Opportunity at Jazeera Airways: PR Manager

Jazeera Airways is looking for a dynamic PR professional to lead Jazeera’s PR and to manage the commercial and brand objectives as well as enhance the brand image of Jazeera.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Prepare an annual PR plan and consumer & travel trade PR strategy.
• Actively engage with local Kuwait and regional national and specialist consumer, lifestyle and travel media and online bloggers, leveraging contacts and developing new contacts to build awareness and positive stories about Jazeera.
• Write regular press releases to support Jazeera products & services, new routes, promotional campaigns.
• Monitor Jazeera brand reputation and recommend actions to improve when needed.
• Work closely with the Social Media team to develop relationships and activation with key influencers in Kuwait and key markets.
• Supervise editorial and content for Jazeera magazine.
• Manage key Jazeera Corporate announcements and prepare relevant presentations and stakeholder materials.
• Assist with local route launch events in coordination with the marketing team.
• Support Jazeera senior management at industry events & conferences.
• Member of the crisis management team – attend regular updates and training sessions.

Experience:

• Minimum 8 years’ experience in a PR agency or in the PR department of a major company.
• Excellent written and verbal communicator in Arabic and English.
