Job Opportunity at MBC Group in UAE: Digital Content Editor

MBC Group is looking for Digital Content Editor to join the team in United Arab Emirates, who will be responsible for the digital content at Shahid Free website.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Create multimedia designs using computer packages (Adobe Suite) for MBC websites.
2. Improve the interactive with new ideas and content.
3. Maintain the quality and standards of pictures used by New Media site, in terms of relativity to the subject,quality and repetition rules.
4. Responsible for the creation of all graphic assets requested by the editorial for all program titles within the deadlines (Home page promotional images, program page graphics and thumbnails).
5. Uploading media onto shahid.net prior to airing for assigned recorded shows / immediately after airing for assigned live shows and publishing onto the website immediately after airing.
6. Prepare weekly picture galleries to enhance Interactive Library.
7. Complete & maintain MBC Digital Inventory.
8. Excellent skills in editing and creating mobile content (Mobisodes, short clips, wallpapers, ring tones).
9. Perform other tasks & duties as and when required.

Job Requirements:

Applicants must:

1.  Be holders of Bachelor Degree in Multimedia/Digital Production/Graphic Design.
2. Be skilled in using: Adobe Suite, Final Cut Pro/Power Director, Macromedia, Flash & Flash 3D Animator, Dreamweaver and other Graphics and Editing tools.
3. Fluent in Arabic and English.
4. Have planning & organizing skills.
5. Have communication skills.
6. Have Teamwork & Interpersonal Skills.
