Siemens is looking for a Service Business Developer to join its team in Nuernberg, Germany

Responsibilities:

In your role as Service business developer for Partnering, you are responsible for the Business Development & Strategy as well as for the Performance Controlling:

  • This includes the creation of Partnering Strategy jointly with Regions and you act as an expert, partner, and coach for Service-Partnering business in Regions.
  • You are responsible for the development of partners worldwide in alignment with all relevant stakeholders (Regional company and Manager/PLM/Operations)
  • You increase market transparency for partner approach and set up and actively drive continuous improvement of partnering concept including all related business processes.
  • You analyze sales performance and align measures to increase effectiveness and efficiency, monitoring Partner Performance and Forecasting as well as steer partner qualification processes.

Furthermore, you drive in the Low Voltage business development:

  • you define growth strategies together with the regions for the low-voltage service portfolio, e.g. for switchgear, Motor Control Centers, circuit breakers, Simocode devices, and you contribute to profitable growth and beyond.
  • Also, you create market, competitive, and customer analyses and you collaborate closely with the PLM organization to expand the service portfolio.

Required Qualifications:

  • A completed degree in electrical engineering or industrial engineering.
  • You have long-term experience in Sales, Service, or Business Development.
  • Furthermore, you have portfolio know-how of energy distribution systems LV/MV
  • You have knowledge of global customer services as well as presentation skills.
  • Additionally, you have the know-how of Industry and Infrastructure verticals and applications.
  • You have the willingness for business trips (approx. 30%-50%) and have fluent German- and English skills.
