Job Opportunity at Takarub in Jordan: Product Manager

Takarub is looking for an entrepreneurial, highly analytical, user-focused Product Manager to join our team in Amman. As a Product Manager dedicated to mobile experiences, you will help define the strategy for our fast-growing iOS and Android applications and lead the development of best in market user experiences. You will work directly with a strong development team to ship world class features and collaborate with teams from all over the company to ensure a Mobile First mindset. The right candidate will combine an AB-test-driven approach with a strong design sense and product vision.

Responsibilities:

1. Establish shared vision across the company by building consensus on priorities leading to product execution.
2. Lead the ideation, technical development, and launch of creative products.
3. Drive product development with a team of elite engineers and designers.
4. Integrate usability studies, research, and market analysis into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction.
5. Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products.
6. Maximize efficiency in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm.

Qualifications:

1. Three or more years’ experience as a mobile app product manager.
2. A record of success in bringing new products to market of a similar scale and complexity.
3. Experience with defining and running AB-tests in a consumer product.
4. Creativity – you will have lots of fresh ideas and be hungry to test them and see the results.
5. A strong communicator and good listener – able to present ideas coherently and exceptional at building consensus among a diverse group (sometimes remotely).
6. User empathy and experience with running in-person user tests.
7. Experience in using data to drive decision-making.
8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic (spoken, written, reading).

Additional Skills:

1. Experience with email or push notification marketing platforms.
2. Experience with business, gaming, international or monetized apps.
3. Experience in the telecommunications/VoIP space.
4. Strong understanding of mobile technologies as well as mobile consumer usage and shopping behaviors.
