Opportunity description
The French Institute of Jordan is looking for a Human Resources Officer for a 1-year, renewable, full-time fixed-term contract. The Human Resources Officer works in close collaboration with the Manager and is responsible for the operational implementation of the Institute's policy using his skills (HR management, budget management) and ensures that this policy is respected by all departments.
Main duties:
[1] Manage recruitment which includes writing job descriptions, reception, processing and sorting of applications, organization of interviews, and integration of employees in the institution.
[2] Build, manage and track staff records which includes: developing payroll records, work certificates, legal documents (declaration of income ...) and other administrative matters.
[3] Coordinate with the Jordanian authorities such as: social security, health insurance, residence permit, work permit ...
[4] Participate in the course assignment commission for language teachers.
[5] Coordinate budget preparation and budget changes, in conjunction with the delegated director.
[6] Monitor the budget execution of the establishment and report to the management.
[7] Advise management on its areas of expertise.
[8] Participate in the monitoring of the CIBC (Internal Budget and Accounting Control) system, in connection with the accounting agency.
[9] Acting as interim manager of the institution in case of absence.
[10] Check the compliance of employment contracts with local law.
[11] Monitor the development of Jordanian labor law in relation to the lawyer.
[12] Interface with the joint management service of the French Embassy as a need (SCG).
[13] In support of the delegated director, verify the conformity of the service and partnerships with local law.
[14] Monitor the quality process (procedures, processes, archiving, documentation ...).

Applicants must:
[1] Have perfect command of the French language and the Arabic language (oral and written).
[2] Be able to communicate in English.
[3] Have excellent writing skills (writing emails, formal letters, contracts ...).
[4] Have computer skills (word processing, spreadsheet, Internet)
[5] Be capable for analysis and synthesis.
[6] Have a good experience in administrative, budgetary and human resources management.
