Dopravo Company is looking for an Accountant based in Saudi Arabia to take role, in a growing technology driven company, in order to to manage, execute, and administer the accounting function. Day-to-day activities would include: implementing financial and accounting procedures, and other general office administration activities.
Responsibilities of the candidate:
[1] Managing all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, Revenue Recognition, bank account reconciliation.
[2]Performing day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables’ and payables' data.
[3] Preparing and recording asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
[4] Recording all bank transactions and prepare monthly bank and cash reconciliations.
[5] Comply with local government regulatory reporting requirements and tax filings for Saudi Arabia & Jordan.
[6] Ensuring timely collection of payments.
[7] Handling full spectrum of budget, cost and project control, reporting variance and forecasting.
[8] Coordinating and maintaining relationship with 3rd party financial service providers such as auditors and banks.
[9] Keep information confidential and secure them with random database backups.
[10] Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned.
[11] Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed.
[12] Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports
Requirements:
[1] BS degree in accounting, finance or relevant
[2] Proven 2+ years experience in accounting/finance role
[3] Solid knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IFRS, tax laws and regulations
[4] Excellent knowledge of accounting and financial processes (budgeting, financial closure, reporting etc.)
[5] Well-organized with ability to prioritize
[6] Very good communication and interpersonal skills
[7] Attention to detail and problem-solving ability
[8] Computer literacy, MS Excel in particular (familiarity with VLOOKUPs and pivot tables).
[9] Experience using accounting software such as Dynamics, NetSuite, Xero, ...etc.
[10] Native Arabic speaker and fluency in English.
