Orange is looking for a full-time System and Cloud Operation Engineer to join the team and work in Cairo, Egypt for 2021.
Responsibilities:
You are part of the Shared Cloud FCPv1 operations team who is fully responsible to perform operations for customers business critical applications hosted on Flexible Computing Premium solutions (French and international customers). Within this team and based on your senior technical level, your main missions are:
- technical support provided to the team members.
- coaching to leverage the skills of the team members.
- Develop a deep knowledge of the most sensitive customers solutions to become a technical operation owner for all run activities / main point of contact for sensitive customers for the run phase in relationship with SDM, IT CSMs and implementation teams
- Main point of contact to embed new types of activities within the team.
- Handle changes and incidents for FCPv1 customers.
- Develop and update a knowledge base for the team.
- Perform on a regular basis some technical operations during non-business hours or on-calls.
- You participate to workgroups for sake of continuous service improvement.
Requirements:
- You are graduate in IT, have a proven and practical experience in at least 2 fields of the technical areas below. You are able to perform some troubleshooting actions to face incidents and crisis situations
- System administration : Linux, Microsoft
- Applications : Php, Apache, tomcat, Jboss, customer application integration
- Database management : oracle, mysql, ms sqlserver
- Network/Security : TCP/IP, VPN, LoadBalancer (Big IPs / ZTM), Reverse Proxy
- Services : Networker and Avamar back up
- You are keen on new technologies; you want to leverage and enhance the overall service provided to the customers.
- You have a proven capability to provide some technical support and carry some service improvement plans to your teammates.
- Motivation and team spirit.
- Professionalism and rigor in daily operations.
- Some internal and external communication skills.
- Some proactive behaviors to anticipate crisis situations.
- Abilities to evolve.
- Must be fluent in French (both written and spoken). A good level in English is also required.
