You must have the ability to prioritize and organize your own work in order to make the most efficient use of the time available as well as have the ability to work in a fast retail environment. You should be driven to exceed goals and possess a desire to improve ways of working. 

Eligibility:

You must have:

• Live and share the IKEA values every day.
• Be a high school graduate.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role.                                           
• Good knowledge in carpentry and read kitchen drawings.
• Knowledge and awareness of goods handling and safety.
• Represent IKEA brand at the required level.
• Maintain store standards to the required level.
• Lead as per the values of IKEA.
• Customer focus and sales are driven.
• Excellent communication skills.

Your Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible to ensure the smooth running of the As-Is department in order to provide the customer with the best possible price options on the resale of damaged or returned goods, to maximize the sales potential on these products.
• Your key roles and responsibilities include:

1. Provide visitors to As-Is with a positive shopping experience by being service-minded, ensuring that all relevant standards are met or exceeded and general routines and housekeeping is of the highest standard.
2. Ensure all returned or damaged items are displayed effectively in order to offer the customer a clear and concise vision of the discount on offer for each product.
3. Be a product knowledge expert in order to offer the customer any required information on each product within the As – In department.
4. Make sure that the products in the AS-IS area have the price tag which reflect the new price.
5. Clean and tidy up the AS-IS area to maintain IKEA standards.
