Eligibility:
You must have:
- University degree in faculty of engineering-communications or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in core Mobile networks ( 3G/LTE networks ) as well as a solid understanding of virtualization and open stack operations and knowledge in various packet core systems.

Your Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for:
Planning, organizing, and budgeting:
- Architect a strong, advanced packet core infrastructure to support all needed data services.
- Packet core architecture standardization among the group.
- IaaS design, optimization and architecture for the packet core network, as well as any supported services onboarding.
Functional Management:
- Scope, define & design solution offerings; driving end-to-end technical solutions.
- Analyze new technology, define business requirements & participate in risk analysis.
- Work with the core team on a list of potential activities & solutions as well as support deployment of the solution.
- Participate in knowledge transfer, documentation & information sharing.
- Support sales & business development teams by providing the required technical expertise to effectively design and conceptualize the solution offering.
- The role may entail carrying out a high-level assessment of customer requirements and translating with optimum solutions, design & detailed BoQ and collaborate in response to RFI/RFP.
- Follow on hardware and software status of packet core systems (SGSNs, GGSNs, DNSs, Optimization, Caching, Transparent Caching, AAA & PaCo DN) that provide data service for all Orange subscribers and evaluate new features that can optimize network performance.
- Develop and design Infrastructure as a service, to cater to the virtualization roadmap of the network functions and services.
- Develop packet core business plan following the latest hardware and software evolution.
- Benchmark with Orange subsidiaries for best practices used in the packet core domain and evaluates the impact of redesign on other teams' plans.
- Recommend solutions to unprecedented problems that may occur in your own area of expertise and evaluates the impact on other teams.
- Perform studies regularly and evaluate failure scenarios for major packet core services as well as investigate and provide an alternative solution for weak points.
- Create and maintain documentation for solutions implemented in the packet core.
- Collaborate with customers and vendors/suppliers during new solutions in the design phase for optimum delivery.
- Lead packet core RFP’s, from design, evaluation of supplier selection, awarding till equipment delivery and the start of implementation.
