Opportunity description

Amaris is looking for a colleague who will act as a DevOps within the company's team in Frankfurt. The main task is to maintain the technical environment of the digital products and services while working in collaboration with the IT department to deploy and operate company's systems, help automate and streamline the operations and processes, build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring operations, as well as troubleshooting issues in all company's environments.

Eligibility:

You must have:

  1. University degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, a comparable technical education.
  2. At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  3. Deep Java and Maven knowledge.
  4. State-of-the-art source code management, i.e. Git.
  5. Experience in building and operating a CI/CD pipeline.
  6. Interest and ability to learn other coding languages as needed.
  7. Ability to speak and write in English fluently and idiomatically.

Your Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for:

  • Development of a future-proof container orchestration platform, covering build, deployment, and test automation as well as provisioning of infrastructure components in cloud environments.
  • Maintain the platform by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health.
  • Design concepts, evaluate tools and technologies to improve every aspect of the platform (incl. CI/CD pipeline).
  • Drive adoption of best practices in platform health, testing, and maintainability.
  • Working as part of a delivery team with agility.
