Opportunity description

Amaris is looking for a talented SCADA network expert to join the company's team in Germany and be part of an execution project team and act as the main interface to the client with regards to SCADA, network, and IT topics from project kick-off until commissioning.

Eligibility:

You must have:

  1. Engineering degree or equivalent e.g. Electronics, IT, or telecommunications.
  2. At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  3. Experience in computer networks and their configuration (IP concepts, firewalls).
  4. Broad knowledge of communication protocols (IEC,104, IEC101, MODBUS, DNP, OPC).
  5. Be self-responsible, structured, and solution-oriented working.
  6. Very good communication skills, strong planning, and organizational skills.
  7. Intercultural understanding, ability to work productively in multitask teams, and team player attitude.
  8. Willingness to go on business trips abroad on a regular basis.
  9. Fluency in English, other languages are an added value.

Your Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for:

  • Managing the internal interfaces to control & SCADA engineering and other technical support functions.
  • Supporting the project team to execute international projects on-time, within budget targets, and with the best possible quality.
  • Support negotiations with customers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Organization and coordination of windfarm specific multiple network structure.
  • Checking and maintaining network design, documentation, and databases.
  • Configuration and verification of network components (switches, router, firewalls, sensors, and customer options).
  • Elaboration of project-specific technical modifications of wind turbines together with other team members.
  • Fault finding.
  • Coordination and reviewing of technical documentation.
