Job Opportunity in Germany at Delivery Hero: Business Intelligence Analyst

Delivery Hero is looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to join its Global Business Intelligence team in Berlin, Germany. The business intelligence team’s goal is to support all operations of Delivery Hero’s global brands by sharing knowledge, deep-dive data analysis and best practices from other markets. The team also helps the business make more informed and data-driven decisions, and assist in implementing best practices in data usage and reporting.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop accessible, creative and engaging data visualization to facilitate access to insight.
2. Create data analyses based on clear and detailed specifications from stakeholders.
3. Engage with key stakeholders to understand the business vision, requirements & priorities and help to translate data into actionable insights.
4. Analyze trends in the data and provide insight and explanation to your stakeholders.
5. Help identify, define and specify future insight and data needs to support the different business units.
6. Collaborate with other data analysts, data engineers, and product owners.

Requirements:-

1. 2-6 year experience as a BI/Data analyst working for internet companies
2. You have at least a bachelor’s degree in a quantitative subject, e.g. computer science, physics, mathematics, engineering
3. You are proficient in SQL
4. You have at least 2-year experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, or others
5. Highly passionate about data, with creative problem-solving abilities and an eye for detail
6. Good English communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

1. Experience in marketing analytics.
2. Practical experience with big data tools (e.g Redshift, BigQuery)
3. Experience with version control systems (VCS) (e.g. Github).
4. Independent and rigorous working style.
5. You are a team player and love to think outside the box.
