Aramex offers a job opportunity as an accountant in their office in Jordan. The main job purpose is to implement agreed upon mechanisms for acknowledging financial transactions with customers, vendors and suppliers to ensure proper transmission into the financial system.
Main Responsibilities:
Typical duties included are, but not limited to:
[1] Ensure proper account reconciliation with vendors, suppliers and stations to reflect accurate figures in the financial system.
[2] Comply with effective mechanisms for proper checking and approval of stations, suppliers, and vendor invoices.
[3] Prepare sub ledger and general ledger accounts to ensure valid data in the financial system.
[4] Prepare journal entries into Aramex financial software for payments made to suppliers and invoices paid by customers.
[5] Maintain confidentiality of all accounting records in compliance with Aramex finance policies and procedures.
[6] Comply with local regulations and accounting standards.
Job Requirements:
[1] Bachelor Degree.
[2] English Proficiency.
[3] MS Office Applications (Work, Excel, Power Point & Outlook).
Note: candidates must have a drivers license and a car.
