Job Opportunity in Jordan at the School of Engineering Technology at HTU

The Department of Energy Engineering at Al Hussein Technical University (HTU), located at King Hussein Business Park, Amman, Jordan, invites applications for multiple teaching assistant and lab engineer positions in energy engineering. The review of applications will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled.

Position Description:

The successful candidate will be expected to:

1. Teach courses in the discipline area of energy engineering. 
2. Stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. 
3. Provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. 
4. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding teaching interests and co-curricular activities. 
5. Write assignment for courses and internally verify other courses’ assignments. 
6. Have the experience and is qualified to teach at the undergraduate level. 
7. Follow up students’ projects. Connect their subject matter with related fields. 
8. Learn and use technology to enhance teaching and educational experience. 
9. Serves on college, divisional, and program committees as assigned. 
10. Participate in meeting and events required by the college, division, and program administrators.

Qualifications:

• The successful candidate for this position needs to have a bachelor degree in energy engineering or any related field.
• Industrial experience is required for the lab engineer position.
• The preferred qualifications are Teaching experience in internationally-accredited English-speaking institutes.
