Opportunity description

Chalhoub Group offers a job opportunity in Kuwait as a sales supervisor. The sales supervisor is responsible for establishing customer relationships through personalized services, achieving sales targets/receivables, managing stock as well as build, train, supervise, and motivate a team of front-liners.

Eligibility:

You must have:

  • From 4 to 5 years of experience in sales/customer service.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Knowledge of brand's principals' management.
  • Selling & influence skills.
  • Financial awareness & commercial acumen.
  • The ability to make business planning.
  • Keep the quality of work.

Your Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for: 

  1. Build and maintain customer relationships in order to build strong loyalty.
  2. Communicate with customers to assess their needs, provide assistance in satisfying those needs and meeting them.
  3. Address customers' queries about products, prices, availability, the product uses, and services.
  4. Negotiate prices and terms of sales and service agreements.
  5. Identify prospective customers by using business directories and customer database, following leads from existing clients, and attending trade shows and conferences.
  6. Introduce the company’s profile and communicate the selection of products available.
  7. Provide market feedback to the sales manager regarding the movement of goods/brands.
  8. Monitor sales activities to ensure that the sales targets are met.
  9. Supervise the sales process by following up on orders, deliveries and collections.
  10. Ensure that payment and collection of receivables is done in a timely and diplomatic fashion.
  11. Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales.
  12. Coordinate with the marketing manager on the budget requirements and limits.
  13. Confer with company officials to develop methods and procedures to increase sales, expand markets, and promote business. 
  14. Ensure in-store stock replenishment in the appropriate shelves/counters, at appropriate times.
  15. Oversee the ordering and replenishment of all goods to avoid running out of stock and process orders if necessary.
  16. Ensure merchandising guidelines have been met for all brands.
  17. Supervise assigned personnel (e.g. screening, interviewing, recommending, training, evaluating, etc.) for the purpose of enhancing the productivity of staff, and ensuring that department outcomes are achieved.
  18. Oversee workload of the department for the purpose of maximizing the efficiency of the workforce and meet operational requirements.
  19. Ensure proper induction of new employees.
  20. Conducting periodic performance appraisal to all assigned staff, and for growth, development, engagement and motivation, coaching and guiding of the department's employees.
  21. Monitor front-liners attendance, leave and vacations.
