Job Opportunity in Saudi as an Operations Leader in Aramex Company

Aramex offers a job opportunity in Saudi to work as an operations leader. The operations team leader/senior is responsible for the design, and execution of all operational plans and projects across Aramex operations. The position requires extensive knowledge and proven experience within courier business, transportation, and fulfillment services. This position requires a leader with a demonstrated ability to initiate and implement change within the courier business. It is necessary for the individual to be skilled in operations management and projects’ execution and must be experienced in creating and monitoring operational KPIs based on customers’ needs and company strategy. The Ops leader will be responsible for meeting service quality targets and will report directly to the operations manager.

Eligibility:

You must have:

1. Minimum of 5 years of related experience in a senior operation position within the logistics / courier industry.
2. Prior experience in courier business including domestic and international operations.
3. Proven experience in leading teams and managing people.
4. Ability to implement industrial engineering methodologies on the ground.
5. Ability to conduct and understand data analysis.
6. Ability to create a work environment that encourages creative thinking and the ability to maintain focus, intensity and persistence, even under adversity.
7. Collaborative leadership as you should knows how to get things done through formal channels and the informal network while instilling a sense of purpose in others; sees a connection to larger purposes.
8. Leading change and have the ability to develop and implement an organizational strategy and to incorporate it into the organization’s long-term goals.
9. Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering.
10. Strong oral and written communication skills with all levels of the organization.
11. Competent with MS office suite.

Your Responsibilities:

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following but other duties may be assigned:

• Overall responsibility for setting and monitoring KPI’s relating to daily work, as well as improvement of both processes and cost.
• Executing and controlling new and special operational projects.
• Work with employees to maintain proper staffing levels while managing labor costs.
• Work with employees to generate SOP and function with best practices to maintain service quality, increased flows of shipment volume, safety, and cleanliness.
• Lead process change initiatives including enhancements to create improved efficiencies across operations.
• Customers’ meetings in case required for customization solutions.
• Ability to be on call in emergency situations including either employee or building emergencies.
