Job Opportunity in Turkey: Arabic Copy Editor at TRT

TRT is looking for a talented Copy Editor in the Arabic language to join the team in Turkey for 2021, with +4 years of experience to be part of the new international expansion project in Istanbul. The successful candidate is a self-motivated copy editor able to craft company communications, uphold and elevate writing standards, and provide copy editing support for important TRT written materials designed for various markets. The role is perfect for a writer who is at their best when their work combines delivering world class contextual communications at scale along with added fun and creativity. 

Key responsibilities:

1. Copyediting all Communications materials in timely fashion.
2. Reviewing all marketing materials to ensure its suitable for certain markets with different dialects.
3. Entering new content into our Content Management System ensuring consistent style and voice as well as adhering to our brand guidelines.
4. Collaborating with Marketing, Audience, and other teams to ensure projects have the content needed to be completed in a timely manner.

Key skills, experience and education:

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Literature, Journalism, or related discipline.
2. 4+ years of experience in Copy Editing.
3. Manage complex, fast-moving and unexpected communications challenges and be able to deal with ambiguity.
4. Quickly dive into TRT's writing culture, learning the style and infusing it into all work.
