Opportunity description

Emaar is looking for a Guest Ambassador to join the Customer Service team and work in "At the Top" in Burj Khalifa. The Guest Ambassador is a key member of a team setting high standards of service in every aspect of the role on every occasion. They will report directly to the Supervisor of Operations.

Main Duties:

  1. Represent the Company and be an Ambassador for At the Top.
  2. Provide a visible, friendly customer service presence at all times.
  3. Acknowledge, meet, and greet all customers.
  4. Operate ticketing systems and sales.
  5. Assist with bags, coats, prams, wheel chairs, and other physical items.
  6. Assist queues to go through the ticket barriers and screening machines.
  7. Offer help with escalators, doors, and lifts.
  8. Highlight points of interest and provide information, as requested.
  9. Control the flow of people to escalators, crossings, and walkways.
  10. Respond to and field any queries at each post throughout the attraction experience.
  11. Adapt and communicate clearly to a diverse range of customers.
  12. Consistently demonstrate a fun, polite, helpful approach so all customers feel valued.
  13. Uphold company: Brand, Culture, Vision, Values, and Policy.
  14. Understand all operational practices to maintain compliance to standards.
  15. Deal with demanding customers, offering solutions, keeping customers informed regarding the progress of an issue and escalating the problem when required to the Supervisor.
  16. Highlights any problems, issues, deficiencies, and recommend solutions and improvements to continually contribute to the success of the attraction.
  17. Works with other Burj Khalifa Departments and external parties to deliver an integrated service.

Qualifications:

  1. Customer service experience within Tourism / Retail / Sales or Hospitality industry.
  2. A desire to work with the public and give customer service.
  3. Experience of ticketing, sales, and cash handling.
  4. High level of communication skills in English.
  5. A second language is preferable: ideally, Arabic, Spanish, French, Russian, Japanese, German, Chinese, Korean, etc.
  6. Ability and willingness to work shifts including: weekends, evenings, public holidays.
  7. Physically fit and be able to be on your feet for extended periods of time.
  8. Has a team ethic and experience of working in teams.
  9. Worked in Gulf or UAE.
  10. Has the following personal attributes: Outgoing, friendly, smiles, positive outlook, alert and naturally enjoys interacting with people.
