Eligibility:

You must:

• Live and share the IKEA values every day.
• Have a postgraduate or finance professional (CA/CPA/CIA) or MBA – finance/operations management.
• From 3 to 5 years’ experience in process compliance/audit, preferably in the retail industry.
• It's preferred to have working knowledge in SAP/Navision – ERP system.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good presentation skills.

Your Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for:

1. Assist in ensuring that all operational and financial controls are adequately and uniformly formalized and implemented for the respective business unit across all geographies to mitigate the risk of loss, safeguard assets and improve operational efficiency.  
2. Support and coordinate all internal audit requirements. 
3. Review all new processes and training material of new projects from a risk aversion point of view. 
4. Implement and oversee monitoring activities for loss prevention. 
5. Review all contractual obligations and secure compliance with group policies.
6. Analyze SOP’s and suggest operational guideline changes if necessary.
7. Implement improvements in existing processes to improve operational efficiency.
8. Ensure implementation of SOP’s, related improvements and operational guidelines.
9. The rollout of SOP’s in all new stores.
10. Train store teams on financial SOP’s.
11. Standardize processes across the region.
12. Support in coordinating internal audits in stores including necessary entry and exit meetings.
13. Follow up with stores and service office on implementation of internal audit points and annual non-implemented audit recommendations.
14. Coordinate consolidated internal audit communication for the brand.
15. Review of contracts based on group procurement policy.
16. Review of all company contracts for commerciality and risk in coordination with group legal, where required.
17. Review of 3rd party suppliers for IWAY compliance along with IWAY compliance team.
18. Coordinate with service office and store teams for Non-Merchandise procurements.
19. Secure necessary approvals for all contracts and non-merchandise policy compliance.
20. Maintain a live directory of all approved company contracts.
21. Project coordination and meetings.
22. Communication with stakeholders.
23. Review of agreements for lease and its appendices with an expansion, finance and legal team.
24. Coordinate with the landlord on finalising the various agreements.
25. Review of franchise agreements and supply agreements for new stores/locations with legal and finance.
26. Enhancement of current SOP’s based on audit findings/ internal frauds/ identified gaps.
27. Store reviews and engage in internal investigations.
28. Analyze perpetual inventory count results across all stores.
29. Support finance manager with inventory write-offs.
30. New system projects support.
