Disney offers a job opportunity in the USA as coordinator-HL commercialization (project hire). The coordinator provides support to the Lucasfilm and National Geographic hardlines licensing team in their management of a variety of product categories and a portfolio of licensees in order to meet or exceed predetermined revenue targets and growth objectives.
Eligibility:
You must:
- Be a self-starter with excellent organizational skills, project management, and follow-through with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
- Be a critical thinker, proactive, resourceful, flexible, detail-oriented.
- Be confident, but able to ask for assistance when being uncertain.
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills as well as solid presentation skills.
- Collaborator with strong interpersonal skills, ability to build relationships and work across multiple partners to complete tasks.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Be proficient in key applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Keynote.
- Familiarity with the Walt Disney Company brand and its businesses.
It's preferred to have:
- From 1 to 2 years of related experience.
- Previous experience in a closely related field.
Your Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for:
- Serve as the point person for cross-category requests (i.e. PR and communications product/marketing requests, licensee lists, etc.) and deploying franchise and marketing updates to licensees.
- Assist the franchise lead with marketing activations and licensee coordination.
- Manage the input of contract deal points and amendments into internal systems.
- Compile and maintain the accuracy of informational library/tools including licensee lists, product (sku) portfolio, franchise recaps (external), franchise plans (internal), etc.
- Assist with the preparation of internal meetings, roadshows, and events.
- Assist the category team with day to day business needs.
- Sample management.
