Google offers a job opportunity as a Regional Program Managers to be part of the team in Chicago, USA. As a Regional Program Manager, you will be at the heart of your team's sales training operations and activities. You’ll be the point person for program management and activation of Google’s core curriculum (i.e., onboarding, sales skills, practice workshops, e-learnings) as well as the growing live training needs. The Sales team is responsible for creating trusted learning experiences for sellers around the world, encompassing everything from on-boarding to advanced programs. Google’s team is critical to ensuring sellers are properly equipped with product knowledge and the foundational selling skills in order to deliver success for Google and meet and exceed customers business goals.
Responsibilities:
- Drive overall process and operational rigor on the delivery and success of your program in the region
- Partner with business stakeholders, People Operations, People Development, to drive awareness and alignment of Sales Mastery program curriculum, including e-learning content and live events
- Coordinate trainings/event setup in multiple offices across the region, including securing facilitation, booking event space, etc.
- Prioritize and complete multiple tasks and follow through with training team members to achieve group and individual goals
- Build and maintain positive and productive inter-departmental working relationships
- Work closely with Sales Mastery teams including curriculum studios to ensure having clear alignment and partnership on key deliverables for the Sales teams
- Work closely with Sales leadership to drive awareness, support, and adoption of Google’s programs
- Anticipate the needs of the team members and help them stay focused on their projects by resolving operational and administrative issues before they arise
- Use knowledge to support the team's projects, demonstrating excellent business judgment, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Take initiative and work as part of a team to help drive incredible learning programs at scale
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 2 years of experience in program management
Preferred qualifications:
- Knowledge of process, project, and program management and practices and ability to apply them when solving operational issues
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with a diverse range of people and functions
- Ability to adapt and effectively handle ambiguity with minimal supervision
- Ability to quickly learn new tools and technologies. Interest and experience in using technology/learning management systems and the Internet to improve work efficiency
- Excellent execution and operational skills to drive process and foundational structure against Google’s plans and roadmap
- Excellent decision-making skills
