Opportunity description

Youtube in the United Arab Emirates is looking for a Content Partnerships Manager. The Content Partnerships team is responsible for seeking and exploring new opportunities with YouTube's partners to enrich our content offering for users and advertisers alike.

Responsibilities:

  1. Help shape the product and content strategies for YouTube. Solicit feedback from content partners to improve the experience for content partners, advertisers, and users.
  2. Develop and maintain direct relationships with key partners. Manage day-to-day partnership activities with a focus on existing performance growth and advocate internally on behalf of our partners.
  3. Research new content and determine whether it is a good fit for YouTube. Identify areas of demand for content and meet these needs with new content agreements.
  4. Define, model, execute against, and analyze key distribution performance metrics and recommend associated channel improvements to partners.
  5. Work cross-functionally with Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, Audience Development, Finance, and Legal. Oversee, escalate, and troubleshoot complex partner matters and queries, engaging cross-functionally to find quick and efficient solutions.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  2. Experience in digital content/media industry. Business development experience.
  3. Experience with digital content distribution and monetization models. Experience in the Content Creator environment/ecosystem and with associated media companies.
  4. Ability to speak and write in English and Arabic fluently and idiomatically.

Preferred qualifications:

  1. TV, film, online service, and/or multimedia experience.
  2. Project management experience, with the ability to handle multiple time-sensitive projects.
  3. Demonstrated understanding of the Internet media space, search engines, and digital content business models.
  4. Good technical know-how and attention to detail, with the ability to develop creative solutions to problems.
  5. Effective negotiation and analytical skills regarding technical and financial issues.
