Opportunity description

Orange announces a job opportunity as a change implementation owner. Deliver all Moves, Adds & Changes on customer network connections, performing technical feasibility study and end-to-end change management by coordinating with internal specialist teams. For IPVPN & Enterprise Telephony Customers implement the simple and standard changes & get the complex changes activated in the agreed time as per SLA with the customer.

Eligibility:

You must have:

  1. Excellent knowledge of networking technologies at layer 2 and layer 3 of the OSI Model.
  2. Understanding of networking technology LAN, WAN, UCC.
  3. Cisco call manager experience.
  4. Understanding of VOIP and IPT technology.
  5. Willing to work in a 24x7 environment.
  6. Good interpersonal, communication skills.
  7. Good time management, and organizational skills.
  8. Ability to work under pressure to deal with multiple tasks.
  9. Proactive and self-motivated.
  10. Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  11. Team spirit.
  12. Fluent in both spoken and written English skills.
  13. Degree in telecommunication and/or computer sciences engineering field.
  14. CCNA is a must.
  15. CCNA Voice or CIPT certified person is preferable.
  16. ITIL foundation knowledge.
  17. ITIL foundation certification is preferred.
  18. From 1 to 3 years’ experience in the telecommunications field.
  19. From 1 to 2 years of experience in networking operational environment (IPT/VOIP/IP).
  20. From 1 to 3 years’ experience in a customer-oriented position.

Your Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for:

  • Assess requests for change that originate from incident management, problem management, release management, or continuity management.
  • Validate and classify the change request according to its complexity defined in the change catalog.
  • Register changes as needed to handle requests for change or receives change requests from other change initiators.
  • Determine the risk and impact for requested changes.
  • Prepare implementation plans by creating tasks.
  • Implement simple and standard change requests for IPVPN & Enterprise Telephony.
  • For complex changes liaise with the correct entity to get the change implemented in the agreed time as per SLA with the customer.
  • Monitor the progress of changes.
  • Monitor and report quality of first time right, on-time change implementation.
  • Ensure and monitor the delivery of change implementation within agreed lead times.
  • Guide the field engineer for all scheduled change activities.
  • Perform the post-implementation review.
  • Check with the customer that his application is running with no problems.
  • Send success report to all involved entities after completing the change.
  • Once the change process is completed, the entire process should be documented in a database (CMDB) that all stakeholders can access.
  • Manage project and bulk change requests using standard processes and procedures.
  • Assess, prioritize, respond and report on time for expedited requests.
