Job Vacancy at Amaris in China: Homologation Engineer

Amaris group in Shanghai, China is looking for Homologation Engineer. 

Main Responsibilities:

• Manage the homologation of a complete vehicle project for different launches and obtain the world wide type approve in Latin America (including Mexico), Africa and the Middle East, and Southeast Asia countries.
• Responsible for homologation and certification of vehicles which will be exported to worldwide countries/regions from China:

1. To make the homologation planning with project teams;
2. To negotiating the homologation planning with test centers;
3. To help to collect and check all the technical information;
4. To gather all the approval certificates, including vehicle tests, sub-system tests, and component tests.

• To realize the tests with the homologation agent and Amaris partner:

1. To participate in the homologation and certification tests if necessary;
2. To analyze the failure with the design team in case that any test does not meet regulation or is not compliant;

• Responsible COP (Conformity of Production) process:

1. To prepare the COP files with a partner;
2. To communicate with agents and clarify COP requests.
3. To negotiate with an agent about COP requests.
4. To give a clear interpretation of the expectation based on the COP program.

• Interface with French homologation responsible and persons from Amaris partner
• Animation of the regular meeting with Amaris partner and homologation agent;

Required Qualifications:

• Mechatronic, mechanical engineering;
• Automobile industry knowledge;
• Regulation knowledge;
• Strong homologation experience on vehicle projects, export to outside of China is preferred.
