Opportunity description

Google offers a job opportunity as an Administrative Business Partner to be at the heart of the team's business operations and activities and the soul that keeps the team moving forward. The candidate anticipates the needs of the managers and team members and helps them stay focused on their projects by resolving operational and administrative issues before they arise. The candidate moves quickly with the changing environment and is up to date with the latest Google products and services, and uses that knowledge to strategically support the team's projects. In addition to being organized and analytical, the candidate possess the strong business judgment and communication skills needed to interact with a variety of people and job functions.

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform various administrative tasks (e.g., manage calendars, book travel and schedule facilities and equipment).
  2. Coordinate duties for multiple offices.
  3. Build efficiency and effective responsiveness into existing operations and help define new operational strategies.
  4. Mentor team members.
  5. Serve as a technical lead and manager of small projects.

Minimum qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  2. 1 year of experience in project management and/or event planning.
  3. 3 years of administrative executive-level support experience.

Preferred qualifications:

  1. Experience in using technology and the Internet to improve work efficiency.
  2. Ability to quickly learn new tools and technologies.
  3. Ability to adhere to complete confidentiality on all business matters.
  4. Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with a diverse range of people and job functions. Interest and experience in interacting with all levels and departments within a company - domestic and international.
  5. Authorization to work in the United States.
