Job in Bahrain: Material Planning Specialist at Arla

Arla is offering a job opportunity as a material planner in Bahrain. The successful applicant will be responsible for planning and controling stock level, The availability of all Packaging materials, maintaining the Master data and BOM for all the components and Finished goods related to Dairy Products and to update it on a continuous basis and do any related works.

Eligibility Criteria: 

• Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent
• Certificate in SAP /APO MM or its equivalent
• Post Graduate with experience in supply planning.
• Certificate in SAP /APO PP/WMS
• Solid SAP PP experience related to demand, supply and production planning and scheduling.
• Use Controlling Tools to Measure Deviations
• Set-up of Corrective Actions in Case of Deviations
• Identification of Main Cost Drivers for Further Productivity Potential
• Work Out Action Plans How to Close Gap
• Coordinate directly with suppliers to agree delivery schedules lead time ,etc.
• At least 3 years’ experience in a SAP /APO environment preferably PP module
• Experience in foreign trade is a plus
• Extensive experience of production planning and co-operation with suppliers

Job Responsibilities: 

1. To plan and control stock level
2. The availability of all Packaging materials 
3. To maintain the Master data and BOM for all the components and Finished goods related to Dairy Products and to update it on a continuous basis in SAP. 
4. To report of any variance between planned consumption and the actual usage and highlight if there is any variance.
5. Control inventories by reviewing the stock cover against the budgeted stocks cover and altering the quantities and the delivery schedule.
6. Ensure Working Capital within budget levels
7. Analyze past and projected usages of materials and constraints to establish appropriate service/safety stock levels.
8. Follow up with approved suppliers for supply of materials to meet the business needs
9. Contact suppliers (local and imported) on a regular basis and getting the information on the status of the call off and deliveries.
10. Agree in conjunction with the relevant managers service levels required to ensure that materials are available at the right time having regard to the relevant constraints
