Opportunity description

Al Futtaim offers a job opportunity in UAE as Quality Coordinator. The successful applicant will be responsible for supporting the design and implementation of performance improvement projects, facilitating meetings, forums, focus groups and workshops, Leading the development and implementation of case reviews for quality improvement activities including Focus review and do any other related works.

Eligibility:

You must have:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (Science, Nursing, etc.) 
  • Any related quality/ infection control certificates.
  • knowledge of the epidemiology of infectious diseases and methods to effectively control their spread.
  • Knowledge of the principles of decontamination, disinfection and sterilization.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent activities.
  • Knowledge of Quality, risk management, and patient safety principles.
  • Excellent command of oral and written English.
  • Competency in interpersonal communication with physicians, nurses and administrative personnel
  • Skill in interpreting information and preparing reports and trend analysis.
  • Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities
  • Computer literate and related software applications (Advanced MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access)                        

Your Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for:

  1. Supports the design and implementation of performance improvement projects.
  2. Responsible for the confidentiality of information that they access to or came across during their work at HealthHub.
  3. Facilitate meetings, forums, focus groups and workshops.
  4. Participate in educational opportunities related to the functions of the department.
  5. Leads the development and implementation of case reviews for quality improvement activities including Focus review.
  6. Conducts rounds, discussing and monitoring infection control practices with staff
  7. collects infection data from departments, maintaining records for each case
  8. trains staff on implementation of infection control practices.
  9. Develop and revise Infection Prevention and Control policies.
  10. Ensure timely response to changes in legislation, health-care trends and government directives that may impact facilities’ ability to provide care.
  11. Performs annual and ongoing risk assessment and monitors organizational compliance with all infection prevention practices.
