Job opportunity: Project Officer Entrepreneurship in Jordan

Spark is offering the job opportunity “Project Officer Entrepreneurship” in Amman, Jordan for 12 months with a possibility of extension. Those who are interested must have a relevant work experience for at least 4 years, educational background in a business related area, and fluent in Arabic and English. The job’s responsibilities will be as the following:

[1] Coordinate the timely implementation of SME and business start-up support activities;

[2] Under supervision of the SME expert liaise with government and business stakeholders to ensure the impact of the programme and synergy with other relevant initiatives in Jordan;

[3] Build capacity of SPARK staff and partners on the topic of SME and start-up development (in Jordan);

[4] Study, analyze and evaluate the business plans presented by entrepreneurs;

[5] Ensure the promotion and management of the training programmes;

[6] Co-develop and ensure quality of business skills trainings;

[7] Assist with periodic market studies in relation to the target populations in order to assess the training needs and to develop the training modules to be offered to entrepreneurs;
