Opportunity description

Reckitt Benckiser Group (RB) is offering an internship opportunity in Dubai, UAE for six months. As it is looking for a personable and highly motivated HR intern to support the HR team in day-to-day administrative tasks and activities. This opportunity is for individuals who want to kickstart their career in Human Resources and build real-world experience with recruiting, employee engagement, development, and the coordination of HR policies and procedures.

Eligibility:

  1. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  2. Creative with solid organizational skills and attention to detail
  3. Strong presentation skills: ability to conceptualize and convince with data and analysis
  4. Track record of delivery, goal orientation and ability to set clear priorities and meet deadlines
  5. Knowledge and past use of MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
  6. The business language in RB is English, therefore fluency in this language is essential. Fluency in other languages(s) is advantageous
  7. 0-12 months of experience in HR is preferred.

HR Intern Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the coordination of regional quarterly HR Newsletter
  2. Manage all tasks related to Talent Acquisition such as:
    • Post new positions on websites and job boards
    • Screening resumes and interviewing candidates
    • Coordinate interviews with hiring managers
    • Maintain the recruitment tracker
  3. Coordinate the induction and onboarding plan for new joiners.
  4. Drive the employee engagement calendar alongside the HR team.
  5. Help prepare ad-hoc reports linked with employee database management.  
  6. Prepare and issue employee letters for bank, visa related matters.
  7. Lead team on internal communications (organizational announcements and HR initiatives)
  8. Lead HR Track progress, priorities, and deadlines of various projects.
