The European-Ukrainian Youth Policy Centre (EUYPC) is looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking intern to join the Communications team in Kyiv, Ukraine for two months (August to October 2018). The intern will support the Communications team of the EUYPC and be directly involved in the communication with German colleagues to implement a sociocultural project for children. It is a unique creative project for social and psychological rehabilitation of children who have experienced trauma, using various artistic means (dancing, singing, acting, etc.) The intern will manage communication tasks in the framework of this project, including translation from German to Ukrainian/Russian, and the job will accordingly include a variety of administrative tasks.
Eligibility criteria:
[1] University degree preferably in Public Relations, International Relations, Philology, Sociology etc. or student in his/her last year of university
[2] Proficiency in German (required) and a good level of English (not mandatory)
[3] Computer literacy (social media promotion)
[4] Very good writing, briefing and communication skills, and the ability to adjust messages to different target audiences
[5] Good organizational skills, the ability to meet strict deadlines and to work both autonomously and as a team player in a multicultural environment
[6] Willingness to work with kids
[7] Open personality with strong interpersonal, communication and networking skills and a flexible, creative and dynamic attitude
Benefits:
