Paid Internship in the USA in Human Services Field from Star Services

The Star Services is offering a paid Internship in the summer of 2020 for both undergraduate and graduate applicants. The Star Services Human Services Internship is designed to help you explore, develop, create, lead, and innovate all while helping to make a difference in the lives of others.

Internship Program:

1. As a Star intern, you will be involved in exciting, rewarding, and challenging work each day.
2. This internship provides you with opportunities to explore multiple roles within the field; from supporting people with disabilities in their homes and workplaces, how to be a change-maker and effect legislation, to the leading trend in Person-Centered thinking, and more.
3. You will have bi-weekly learnings that will provide in-depth knowledge and insight into the most current thinking and practices.
4. Interns will complete weekly training lessons that will complement the bi-weekly learning sessions and have weekly check-ins with a professional mentor. 

Required Fields:

Preferred applicants will be currently enrolled in, or a recent graduate of, one of the following programs:  Education, Healthcare Management, Human Services, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Pre-Med, Psychology, Public Health, Social Work, Sociology, and others with approval. 

Position Requirements:

1. You must have a driver's license
2. You must be able to pass a background study

1. Location: Metro Area.
2. Hours: Part-time or Full-time.
3. Compensation: Paid Internship - $14.00/hr.
