Opportunity description
Centrum Wiskunde & Informatica is looking for a PhD student to fill a research position in the Netherlands. The student must work on a project which involves establishing and exploiting connections between theoretical computer science (TCS), discrete mathematics and high-dimensional geometry. The applicants are required to have a Master’s degree in mathematics and/or computer science and must be interested in one of the following topics:
[1] the geometry of tensor products
[2] high-dimensional probability
[3] analysis over the Boolean cube
[4] additive combinatorics
[5] the polynomial method
