Leaders of Tomorrow is offering a job opportunity for supervisors and mentors for an educational hackathon from December 2020 - February 2021, to guide and train the participants through a set of trainings and activities that will be held online. Leaders of Tomorrow will provide a community challenge: “The Education Solutions Hackathon”, whereby a group of young innovators is selected to present proposals and creative solutions to develop and support the educational system in Jordan due to the Coronavirus. This virtual hackathon will represent a unique opportunity to gain and exchange experiences and ideas between a distinguished group of young men and women of different ages and backgrounds and win a financial prize to convert creative ideas into successful projects.
Hackathon Topics:
The hackathon will find solutions related to the following topics:
- Human communication.
- Creativity and creative thinking.
- Psychological and physical health of students and teachers.
- Supporting less fortunate students.
- Supporting teachers in dealing with new teaching tools.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Experience in training and counseling.
- Good knowledge of one or more of the hackathon topics.
- Ability to be committed during hackathons and educational activities.
- Good knowledge of online apps like Zoom
About the Hackathon:
- The educational solutions hackathon will be held via the Internet, where a virtual café will be held for one day to give young people the opportunity to exchange ideas and experiences related to educational solutions.
- Then a group of them is chosen to qualify for the hackathon stage, and then the projects are presented before the panel of judges.
- 5 winning projects will be qualified for the training and mentorship phase, where a range of activities and lectures will be held on topics such as education, entrepreneurship, technology and technical matters, mental and physical health, and others.
