IRC offers a remote job opportunity in Jordan as an instructional designer for the PMTF online training module. You will work directly with the IRC’s protection team (protection monitoring task force) and E-Learning team, the candidate will support the teams at creating a PMTF E-Learning training modules including the development of videos and interactive modules. The training modules will address the topics of key protection concepts, core principles of protection monitoring, PMTF KII tools, and KII interview, and will be available for all PMTF partners. The consultancy will last for two months from November 2020 to December 2020.
Eligibility:
You must have:
- University degree in graphic design, computer science, IT, or related field.
- Experience in creating and managing digital content for web/mobile/e-learning tools.
- Knowledge and familiarity using image, graphics, and video authoring tools like Adobe Photoshop, illustrator, after effect.
- Graphic design skills.
- Storyboard writing skills.
- It's preferred to have information architecture experience.
- Instructional design background.
- The ability to work with technology developers/designers.
- It's preferred to have experience with NGO content.
- Fluency in Arabic and strong working proficiency in English.
- The IRC will maintain full ownership and licenses of the products.
- This position is based in Amman, Jordan. Due to the nature of the consultancy, the selected candidate can work remotely with occasional meetings and briefings in the IRC main office in Amman.
Your Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for:
- Develop storyboards for the training materials.
- Design and develop course content included but not limited to measurable learning objectives, scenarios, simulations, audio scripts.
- Utilize ADDIE to design, develop and publish engaging course content and learning activities for online and virtual modalities with continuous evaluation/improvement cycles for the course content.
- Adapt instructional materials created from face-to-face to eLearning.
- Revise and rewrite course content based on the efficacy of training modules.
- Create a visualized storyboard for the training-based video.
- Structure of modules.
- Create training objectives, pre-posttest and activities for learners after each topic.
- Case studies and scenarios included in the storyboard related to materials.
- Create storyboards for training-based videos.
- The instructor guide describes the structure of the course and how the learner deliver the training.
- Create training evaluation.
