Opportunity description

Disney is offering a job opportunity in Burbank, California, United States, as a Synergy & Partner Marketing Manager.

The Synergy and Partner Marketing Manager will own the marketing relationship with our studio partners and be responsible for developing and executing innovative, multi-channel marketing programs that drive awareness, acquisition, and engagement for the Movies Anywhere offering. The ideal candidate has developed innovative and best-in-class marketing campaigns in a synergy, partnership marketing, or promotions role, is customer- and partner-obsessed, and has a bias for action.

Basic Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree
  1. 7+ years of marketing experience, preferably in the e-commerce or entertainment space
  2. Track record of driving innovative and scalable marketing programs 
  3. Experience and passion for building great partner marketing programs that are unique, creative, and scalable
  4. Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills – up, down, across, and outside the organization
  5. Ability to be diplomatic while setting expectations with stakeholders
  6. Be comfortable in getting hands dirty to get things done

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience working on entertainment properties
  2. App or retail partner marketing experience, a strong plus 
  3. Affiliate Marketing experience, a strong plus 
  4. Knowledge of user acquisition strategy across owned, earned, and paid channels, a strong plus
  1. Agency background or experience working with creatives, a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Build deep long-term partnerships with major partners, as well as key internal stakeholders.
  • Develop multi-channel marketing programs and promotions that drive consumer awareness, adoption, and engagement for Movies Anywhere, including the sourcing of meaningful content from studios, while also driving title awareness and incremental sales.
  • Work with internal and external creative, PR, and marketing teams to develop marketing and promotional concepts and offers for Movies Anywhere and our partners. 
  • Evaluate performance against marketing goals with partners through established review rhythm and define corrective actions to improve effectiveness and results.
  • Be a thought leader for the team to push the envelope in an evolving entertainment and digital content consumption landscape. 
  • Have a strong pulse on relevant trends, consumer insights, and technologies that impact our industry and the way customers consume video content.
