Google is offering a job opportunity as an Account Manager, Branding, Large Customer Sales (English, Japanese) in Tokyo, Japan. In this role, you will play the role of a consultant providing solutions to improve the business of your assigned clients or to solve their business challenges. You will use your marketing skills, problem-solving skills, and communication skills to make recommendations to clients on how they can develop their business by making better use of digital, especially in marketing, thereby becoming a trusted partner and contributing to the client's success.

Duties & responsibilities

  1. Be a trusted business partner for client marketing solutions.
  2. Provide excellent customer service to Google advertisers, identify, and solve client problems proactively and creatively.
  3. Learn and work with Google ongoing development of advertiser products to optimize client campaign results.
  4. Leverage resources, including optimization, marketing, and technical support. Identify opportunities to increase advertiser performance and investment. 
  5. Build relationships with customers and agencies and educate them on digital trends, digital marketing and any other information.

Eligibility criteria

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience in a digital marketing role or a similar role within the advertising industry or client side.
  • Ability to speak and write in English and Japanese fluently.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working in online ad sales, business-development, marketing, and/or consulting sales.
  • Ability to deliver results and client services in a growing environment.
  • Ability to complete a large volume of work.
  • Excellent leadership, organization, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Excellent investigative and problem-solving skills.
