Opportunity description

As an Accountant at Aramex, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of accounting records. This role involves processing financial transactions, performing detailed account reconciliations, auditing financial data, and preparing insightful financial reports to support business decision-making.

Duties & responsibilities

  • Handle Delivery (Inbound) costs for stations and agents, including preparation, review, and booking

  • Handle Linehaul cost files for related entities, including preparation, review, and booking

  • Handle Clearance cost files for related entities, including preparation, review, and booking

  • Audit financial documents and accounting procedures to ensure compliance

  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities

  • Prepare and maintain accurate accounting records and reconciliations

  • Support financial reporting and analysis activities

Eligibility criteria

Job Requirements – Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills

  • 0–2 years of experience in accounting or a related role

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles

  • Excellent command of the English language

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
