Opportunity description

PwC is accepting applications for Accounts receivables allocation officer (12 Months) Contract vacancy in Beirut, Lebanon.

Duties & responsibilities

  1. Responsibility for managing the posting of all banking receipts and
  2. transactions
  3. Ensuring the clearing of cash suspense account and review of entries post
  4. period ends
  5. Resolution of disputes regarding post-dated cheques and coordination with
  6. business
  7. Supervision of all accounting and transactions on a monthly basis
  8. Supervision of wire transfer transactions to ensure a smooth process
  9. Provision of information around unallocated receipts to the business
  10. Provide information and analysis around cash collection to management
  11. Supervision of complex banking transactions ensuring accuracy
  12. Ensure effective cash management by legal entity
  13. Ensuring all transactions are proactively maintained in a systematic manner without errors
  14. Providing deliverables for and responding to queries from internal and external audit Financial
  15. Responsible for supporting the daily finance tasks arising locally in country including country finance processing requirements
  16. Supporting the finance senior officer and manager providing task management as required
  17. Ensure all country finance matters are addressed and promptly responded to Customer Support the on-time and accurate payment of vendors
  18. Support the on-time and accurate finance requirements of the country (CSP / COO) Finance Manager
  19. Support the monthly closing of accounts and finalizing monthly
  20. accounts
  21. Respond to ad-hoc requests in a timely manner

Eligibility criteria

Education: College level education with a focus in Accounting, Finance or related field required

Language Fluency in spoken and written English with excellent communication skills, proficiency in Arabic is an advantage

Overall Experience: 2+ years of accounting experience

Technical Skills:

  • Strong financial, analytical and accounting skills
  • Good level of accuracy to a high level of detail
  • Good calculation and analytical skills
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills

Soft Skills:

  • Good organisation and office management skills to ensure coverage of workload
  • Organization, thoroughness, eye for detail, time management skills and proactivity needed
  • Capability to work well in a team
  • Good liaison skills
  • Good customer service skills
  • Strong work ethic
  • Ethical Conduct
