Al-Futtaim Jobs in Bahrain: Senior IT Support Specialist

Al-Futtaim is offering a job opportunity as a Senior IT Support Specialist in Bahrain. To ensure the operational efficiency of servers, ticketing systems, and network components and perform periodic IT upgrades/enhancements.

1. IT operations: Ensure the continuity of IT operations by implementing and maintaining adequate backup and recovery processes. Should be responsible to test the processes by undertaking periodic test restores.
2.   IT procurement: Shall be responsible for accessing new hardware requirements and coordinating the procurement processes.
3. IT projects: Coordinating IT projects with external vendors and development houses. – Assist the IT Manager in the planning, coordination, UAT, and implementation of new projects that would enhance performance and profitability. E.g.: new Kiosk functions, Web site upgrades, Online ticketing features, Mobile ticketing, etc.
4. IT Infrastructure: Assist the IT Manager in the responsibility of the planning, implementation, and maintenance of all IT systems including hardware, Network systems, Applications, and Data.

Minimum experience:

• 7Yrs + experience in administration of windows server infrastructure.
• Knowledge in SQL 2017 management tasks.
• Knowledge VMware /Hyper V
• Knowledge in Crowd strike Antivirus
• Knowledge in Extreme Network Access Control(NAC)
• Knowledge in Extreme Wireless Controller
• Knowledge in Fortinet UTM
• Knowledge in FWI Signage
• Internal and External Audit coordination
• Knowledge in VIVA, Gardner, TAG-IT, EMBED solution
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to manage and coordinate the support executives.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and good team player.
• Excellent skills in Windows server configuration/administration like DNS, AD, DHCP,  IIS Firewall Configurations, Networking concepts, SQL DB working knowledge, PABX related configuration.
• Troubleshooting skills on Windows client Ops Systems and applications. 

Minimum Qualifications/education:

• BSc. IT Graduate and IT Technical Certifications. 
• Bachelor of Computer Science or Equivalent.
