Al-Futtaim Jobs in UAE: Architect (UAE National)

Al-Futtaim is offering a job opportunity in Dubai, UAE as an Architect (UAE National). The position is to assist the Architecture and GLA management team within Retail Design and Delivery (RDD) department. This team is responsible of maintaining Architecture and MEP records of MAF (Shopping Malls Business Unit) SMBU retail units and provides CAD and GLA management support to various departments and business units across the operating assets and the new developments/redevelopments.

• Generating, updating and maintaining assets Virtual Floor Plans (VFP) on monthly basis according to the needs of the business.
• Generating, updating and maintaining assets Digital Mall Directory (DMD) plans on monthly basis according to the needs of the business.
• Assist in updating and preparing the leasing plans in conjunction to the “Shop Opened / Surrendered / Plan Trade / announcements” 
• Coordinate and perform all technical activities relating to Architectural/MEP LOD preparation and updates, communicating with business stakeholders, and directing the CAD team. 
• Verify and review CRM virtual unit management requests for assets/projects by validating and advising on the scenarios submitted by leasing. 
• Update and maintain asset current drawings, implement changes based on understanding and knowledge of the asset, and possesses working knowledge of managing design documentation. 
• Be a pioneer of technology within the team ensuring the best usage of CAD, 3-D, Revit and Graphics systems supporting the technical efficiency of the team. 
• Ensure compliance with the MAF’s Code of Conduct, Departmental policies and HC Policies and Procedures at all times. 
• Be the advocate and ambassador of aligning and cascading the MAF values and ensure that it is adhered to and exhibit the same all the time. 

Functional/ Technical Competencies:

• AutoCAD 
• Revit is a plus (optional)
• Adobe Creative Suite 
• Sketchup 
• MS Office software 
• Excellent written and oral communication skills along with presentation techniques
