Opportunity description

Al-Futtaim is offering a job opportunity in Qatar as a The Store Human Capital Manager is responsible for facilitating key Human Capital activities on a store level. The role holder is also responsible for supporting employees with issues pertaining to general employee relations, HC policies and procedures and administrative requests.

Duties & responsibilities

  1. Recruitment: Initiate recruitment requisitions and coordinate with the Head Office to fulfil recruitment requirements. Work closely with Store Manager and Head Office to select candidates whenever required.
  2. Employee Relations and Administration: Address employee concerns; investigate grievances and conflicts and take necessary remedial action to manage employee relations. Ensure the efficient delivery of HC services to employees, in cooperation with the Head Office.
  3. Training and Performance: Coordinate training programs with internal stakeholders and other training providers as per requirements to ensure employee talent development. Ensure training programs and initiatives contribute to the progress of the stores’ customer service level
  4. Human Capital Responsibilities: Assist in implementation of the performance management process by setting objectives, monitoring performance, and provide constructive feedback and provide inputs to senior management. Provide mentorship for the purpose of developing a continuous talent pipeline for key roles

Eligibility criteria

  • Minimum Qualifications/Education Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or any relevant discipline
  • Minimum experience A minimum of 5+ years relevant experience in a Human Capital supervisory role
  • Skills:
  1. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)
  2. Ability to manage individuals and groups
  3. Ability to measure training effects
  4. Strong and pragmatic problem solving, along with analytical capabilities
  5. Highly organized with effective multitasking skills
