Opportunity description

Aramex offers a job opportunity in Morocco for the position of area sales leader, who will mainly work to identify sales and business development opportunities to gain customers from various segments.

Duties & responsibilities

You will be responsible for:
  • Provide management with regular feedback about competitors’ activities.
  • Coordinate with the CRM team in relation to customer analysis and migration.
  • Monitor receivables to assist the collection team to ensure customers pay as per Aramex standards when needed.
  • Ensure KPIs are met (targets, visits, opportunities, number of new accounts).
  • Ensure privacy and confidentiality of customer data in line with the company data security policies.
  • Develop and maintain an effective relationship with the customers.
  • Gain new leads and prospect clients.
  • Plan sales team visits (daily/weekly).
  • Develop offers and prepare corporate rates.
  • Grow existing customers and migrate them into higher-value tiers.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Setting KPIs and conducting annual performance reviews for direct reports.
  • Assist and guide the team to achieve their targets.
  • Train new hires on the job or existing staff if needed.
  • Develop, mentor, and coach direct reports.
  • Identify and propose training needed for direct reports.

Eligibility criteria

You must have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or any other field.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • At least 5 years of sales experience, preferably in Freight Commercial & express shipping.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills .
  • Strong customer focus and analytical skills.
