Duties & responsibilities
Apply knowledge and skills of relevant tax practices, processes, and rules to client problems.
Present findings, and recommend and implement tax advice independently while consulting others as needed.
Review written technical advice, reports, memoranda, and deliverables for accuracy and appropriate research.
Select appropriate methods for collecting and analyzing data, and interpret it to develop informed recommendations.
Articulate how technology enables the business and communicate effectively to clients.
Assist clients in completing timely and accurate tax and financial filings to meet compliance obligations.
Draft reports, identify key risks/issues, and propose solutions for clients on tax planning strategies.
Draft clear and succinct formal response letters or dispute application letters for tax authorities.
Eligibility criteria
5 to 7 years of general tax experience, preferably with at least a year focused on taxation.
Experience with a Big 4 firm, law firm, or a large corporate tax department of a multinational company is required.
Strong consulting and compliance experience is needed.
Experience with inbound and outbound international tax is highly preferred.
Excellent research skills alongside strong written and verbal communication skills.
Good knowledge of tax and business laws and regulations.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or other business-related fields (Advanced degrees like MST, JD, LLM or CPA are preferred).
